Getting there

To reach Rose’s by public transport, proceed from the clock tower in Mbale to the Taxi Park on Kumi Road. You can take a shared taxi to Budadiri via Namusi for UGS 2,500. Continue 200 meters along the main road in Budadiri to where you see our signpost on the right, opposite the National Park’s Visitors Centre. There are two gates: one to the campsite and the other to the guesthouse.

Before you travel to Rose’s Last Chance, you may wish to shop at Mbale for supplies needed for trekking or for other goods. Although Budadiri Trading Centre is only a short walk away, the goods available there may not always be suited to your needs or Western tastes.
